Jun 24, 2010 · In the Compatibility tab, I picked "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)". After it installs, go to C:\Program Files\3DO\Heroes 3 Complete. Do the same thing (Windows XP SP2 Compatiblity) for ALL executables in that folder. There are a bunch of them. If you don't do it for all of them, the program will crash occasionally.

If you know how to meddle with the registry key, you can find it here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\New World Computing\Heroes of Might and Magic® III\1.0\First Time (1) => (0) If not, I'll look for another solution for you.

Jul 1, 2021 · Sarafan: It's fully compatible with the GOG version of the game. Just run the .exe file (no matter where it is) and install the mod to the folder where you have the game. After the installation has finished just run HoMM3 HD from your start menu. This should open a launcher where you can set all of the options.
